Elvis in the Desert

bath year 2, day 235 - Elvis is alive and well

Flickr, the world's leading photo sharing community, has over 14,000 photos tagged with "elvis," proving once and for all that Mojo Nixon knew what he was singing about:

"Elvis is everywhere
Elvis is everything
Elvis is everybody
Elvis is still the king"

It's National Elvis Week and people from around the world are converging on Graceland to pay their respects to the king.

Flickr Spokesdog Dos Pesos has asked me to assure his fans that rumours about him masterminding the mauling of Elvis' teddy bear have no basis in fact. None.

Photos from shadowplay, longristra and Angelav. See more photos tagged with Elvis in Flickr's Elvis Clusters.
