ID appear as ...@yahoo.com instead of ...@yahoo.es (I have a Yahoo! ID from Yahoo! Spain) for my friends who use Windows Live Messenger. Therefore, many of my contacts think I changed my email address (which is not true of course). Because it's Windows Live Messenger which doesn't display my Yahoo! ID correctly, I contacted them but they said they couldn't do anything for me and they also said the problem came from Yahoo!. Will this be changed to avoid confusion ? In comparison MSN/Yahoo! is not really interoperability but only compatibility. I dream one day Yahoo, Microsoft and all IM actors will use the XMPP protocol and to get real interoperability (and so the ability to choose my client and my service provider based on my hardware (computer, pda, mobile phone), my OS (Linux, MacOSX, Windows)), the features I need...
