It’s officially winter and we’re keeping it short, so you can climb back into bed or return to your holiday celebrations.
- Take it for a spin: Want to beta test our new Yahoo! Music video player? You’ll dig its customizable video lineup, sleek new design and ability to search for your favorite artists and videos from within the player. Have suggestions on the beta? Let us know. And Mac lovers across the world can now also dance to Fergie’s latest video. Read more here.
- Less scrolling means more time to date: View potential dates side by side on Yahoo! Personals to easily find your ideal match. Have some deal breakers? Create a checklist of traits that are definite no-no’s and take advantage of the personalized view to see the most important attributes up top. Curious who’s been checking you out? The “Who’s Viewed Me” feature will come in handy. Go on with your bad self.
- Spreading holiday cheer: Watch the Yahoo! elves as they create your personal holiday snowman greeting, otherwise known as Yahoo! S.N.O.W (Simulated Niceness of Winter). Use one of our fun pre-recorded greetings or create your own, then send your snowman to friends, family, and colleagues around the globe. It’s S.N.O.W.-licious!
We’ll be hibernating next week, so see you in 2007!

Cool! S.N.O.W examples.
- Stay back and have dinner with a friend/family.
- Do a chore you normally avoid when asked by a friend/family.
- Sacrifice small things like tv time, not smoke, not crib or complain.
There are so many ways to share a smile.
Happy holidays, Yahoo!.

The new video player is cool, but when will it be available in the Yahoo Music Engine?

I have been reading blogs by Yahoo! users or blogs about Yahoo!. Its like a complete web/eco system around Yahoo.com, cool!
1.Not many Yahoo’s who had blogged used 360! -its not about why-not & that’s-ok but the attitude to get them all with a awesome product.
2.Many seem to face information/email overload! -Ok about blogs or posts by people up there who end up with lot of Email/information at work. Its like flying higher into the sky.
-new view:new role :: your role:your information
future leader- work, learn n evolve.
Lead-schedule and plan work for FL.
Head lead-analyse the lead and give work/projects to lead.
Top lead-give ideas, network n have opinions about HL and products.
Company Head- Make/take decisions, listen/interact with TL and mingle with FL.
Brand Head - Interacts with Hiring Brand specialist, Innovation Brand specialist, Finance & Resource specialist, Information Aggregator/Reporter and Company head.
On a different note, is anyone thinking of a product for this mail/information overload ;-)
3.I read lot of feedback for Yahoo! by Yahoo’s and others:
my take is:
-If you cant code it shows.
-If you dont believe in the Yahoo! brand it shows.
However
I also found out Yahoo! has wise, experienced, loyal, bold, creative, skilled people. So Yahoo! boldly go where no man has gone before and take us with you, yah we are ready. Well and someone please say ‘Make it so’.

Regarding yahoo India.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/afterimagery/344442919/
I could be very wrong but after seeing this advertisment
*i might go to yahoo.com
*i might not be able to remember the URL
*i might not spread the URL around (its easy to say, hey go to yahoo.com)
http://in.yahoo.com/oneid_somuch_fun/ (arent we all used to a certain way we enter URL’s like http://www.yahoo.com) Again if the survey says Y! India brand is strong by itself then ok.
URL Management.
Follow URL naming convention but think to keep URL simple and easy. Maybe create a easy access procedure.
