That’s right… Flickr bids the terrible two’s good-bye as it steps into its third year. Hundreds of flickrites showed up tonight at San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Center for the Arts to help celebrate, snarfing down Flickr cupcakes, snagging Flickr schwag, and bidding on stunning photos taken by Flickr users (including this well-known Flickr log-in page shot).
Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit Kids with Cameras, a non-profit organization that teaches the art of photography to marginalized children in communities around the world.
Check out our Flickr set and then search for “Flickr 333″ to taste more of the birthday action.
