Taking “over the hill” to new trivial heights, “Jeopardy”! turns 43. We’ll take “Product News” for $1,000.
- Beyond world news: From in-depth perspectives to regional expertise and daily blog reports, Yahoo! News will soon bring you “Trusted Voices” from McClatchy foreign correspondents around the globe to give you personalized and on-the-ground view. Keep a look out for the “Inside Iraq” blog written by native Iraqi staffers and other contributed stories from various regions starting in the coming months. More here.
- Road trip buddies: Check out the new Custom Friends feature at Yahoo! Autos Custom to meet and do some car talk with fellow motorheads. You can upload a photo of your ride, make a direct “connection,” post comments, and interact with other members in a whole new way. Who said you can’t “roll with the homies?”
- Taking it to the small screen: Reaching out to your customers wherever they are just got simpler with the new Yahoo! Mobile Publisher Services. Across 19 countries, publishers now have tools to get their content into Yahoo! oneSearch and can access Yahoo!’s vast mobile ad network. What does that mean for the rest of us? More instant answers and relevant information (think ringtones, games, videos, real estate listings) right at our fingertips.
Subscribe to the RSS feed (or add it to My Yahoo!) to get this Product Pulse every week.

History has lessons, romans, genghis khan all conqured vast regions and they all learnt they cant own these people and hence they converted them. They got them to use their currency, products and adopt to their lifestlye. It is important to convert web traffic and popularity into profit, i know its tough but i also know its nothing personal, its just business! So yahoo, get up now and take your products to your users!
I also want yahoo to have a team or some there to everyday surf the web for new ideas, concepts, technology, business ideas, issues etc., This person or team should be creative, well networked websurfers/net explores who will communicate within and outside yahoo to find and document anything new online. This information will help yahoo be innovative, business carnivores, and web leader at large.
- Please yahoo work your network, i just checked this site and i want yahoo everywhere online. The page link from this site is avaliable only for members and hence i have pasted the content from the site, read it and make things happen.
I work for an online portal and i know every little thing is tough but if i am getting paid, i either show results and step up or i leave . Anyway i have provided the information i read at desimartini below:
————————————————————————————-
DesiMartini wants to help you make money. When people click on ads that are displayed next to your profile or your blog, the revenue will go to you and not to us.
In order to start making money, you need to have a Google AdSense account. Once you have an account, simply enter the account id in the space below and start earning. The more you use DesiMartini, i.e. the more people visit your profile and the more people visit your blog on DesiMartini, the more money you make.
Creating a Google AdSense account is easy! click this link to sign up for one now - https://www.google.com/adsense. For an AdSense tour click http://www.google.com/services/adsense_tour/
Please do not click on the ads on the side of your profile and blog yourself as this could result in disqualification for you from the AdSense program.

Weekends i get the opportunity to explore the web and this week i noticed, we have a web tread where:
* new search engines which are searching the web 2.0 Ex: Ugenie
*products which are not offering unique products but mashup of existing products.
*products which collate and validate existing products while offering them quickly.
Before i go forward and bore you, i want to remind you about the comments i have made in the past in this regard:
-information overload.
-information validation.
-member profile management.
-opensource moderation.
-web exploration.
Long time back someone spoke to me about yahoo toolbar, well thats history. What is the status of innovation with this product now? Yahoo work your toolbar, coz its the next best thing to having a web browser.

I use firefox browser and many people i know use it too and everyday i see them adding some new button or a tool bar and its kinda of funny then they complain of lesser screen space. Also many have a tool or service but then they have so many services loaded they forget to use what they have in their browser tool bar.
I was thinking about yahoo toolbar coming in here and helping all these people with a one single dynamic, smart toolbar which would help keep the tool bar where it is- right at the top as a single slim bar n not covering half the work place.
