It’s National Nature Photography Day! So before you grab your camera and hit the park or peruse through 2 million nature photos on Flickr, take a look at our “all natural” updates from the week.

  • More of My: My Yahoo! just juiced up its modules for beta users per your feedback (thank ya!). Have multiple email accounts? Get a preview of your emails right from your start page (even non-Yahoo! email accounts) that support POP Mail. Or try the Yahoo! Scoreboard module that lets you quickly get the latest updates on your fan-tastic sports team (it even “hides” on its own when your team is off-season). There’s more, so read up on what else the crew has up its sleeve on the new My Yahoo! blog. Non-beta users, hold tight!
  • Mas dinero: Yahoo! Telemundo just launched a new financial education site in its “Tu Dinero” section with new personal finance tools and information en Español. “Soluciones Financieras” offers practical information about budgeting, saving, ID theft, credit and loans — basically your one stop shop for all things personal finance. There’s even an interactive budget calculator, so no more excuses for living hand to mouth.
  • Zurf your turf: If you’ve got ZoneTag rolling already, you definitely need to try the first ever location-aware mobile photo browser on your phone! Zurfer not only lets you browse Flickr while on the go, it surfaces photos taken around you wherever you are (this is where ZoneTag comes in). You can also view your friends’ and groups’ latest photos, access your own collection, or do your normal Flickr searches. Don’t have a ZoneTag account yet? No biggey. Anyone can download Zurfer and get all the perks. You just need to manually input where you are to get the local highlights! Happy zurfing and read more here.
  • Jumpcut your Yahoo! ID: Sick of juggling IDs? We thought so. You can now use your Yahoo! ID to log into Jumpcut. Only have a Jumpcut ID? You’ll be prompted to link it to a new Yahoo! ID (make it the same or just create a new one). Attached to your online mug? Don’t fear — your Jumpcut screen name, account information, and profile photo will remain the same. Still have questions? Read more here.

Subscribe to the RSS feed (or add it to My Yahoo!) to get this Product Pulse every week.

My yahoo looks good now but what is its fundamental purpose? Is it a page for me to start my day with or a page i check in often or is it a page i spend most time on? Are you working on offereing something unique here? Even otherwise it now looks good.

OMG! is cool, dont many celebs get on shows or media to promote, is this being considered here? If they live with us in real world, why cant you make space for them in the cyber world?

Those who will choose wisely will live nicely, online!

Online users will start to live like some celebs in real world who even though have a home, mostly live their daily life in concierge serviced hotels!
-Privacy level and structure will change.

-If you have used A B or C service but when you come to use D, the time and effort put at A B C will be considered by D.

-Gonna are the days when at a dinner tabe all the spoons are placed, now a spoon will be given for the activity at hand. Likewise, instead of placing all the features for the user to choose, soon features will be presented based on the current online activity of the user.

-Mutiple identities of a single person will be encouraged and managed.

-Single product will be different for various users. Gonna are the days of every user seeing a product in the same way. A product will be like a city! Its something for everybody.

-Developed world will want more local and developing world will want more global!

n more..

P.S.
Virtual world, Internet, cyber world, etc., Come to think of it for me its a dimension within a dimension where time, space, energy, and more can be manipulated and managed.
Also like how the Internet rose during the technolgy revolution likewise now when their is so much going on with the Internet, for me nanotechnolgy is the rising star.

Yahoo, i also read a lot online and nowdays people are writing mean stuff in general. I like yahoo, it has nice people n good stuff. I mean isnt programming logic like composing music, you cant run out of music.

Well step up, play that keyboard and create some platinums already.

P.S.
Spell check used in this comment. Grammar still an issue! Come to think of it, will their be an universal Internet language or translator anytime soon?

Management’s Misperception -

Management assumes that if they create enough sites and partner with enough sites that people will use their search bar off of those sites. As anyone who uses the internet knows its very easy to recognize human behavior.

An internet user simply goes to the address bar and types in “google.com” or goes to favorite on the toolbar labled Google or jumps to some other shortcut to Google.

People do not feel obligated to use the search bar on the screen.

Learn something here. Having spent so many years in this profession you figured that would be the first thing you learned.

Brand-banner ads
keyword-websites- PPC text ads
what next……

Meanwhile
Could PPC text ads turn into microsites. Users may not even go to the main site. Text ads may evolve beyond Title, description and URL.
Microsite is not minisite.

P.S.
I hate the search box, i dont like keywords and i need to do something about that annoying click, click, click…….
