This week’s roundup is short and sweet, so you can get a head start on standing in line for that iPhone.

  • My world, My Yahoo!: Spice up your My Yahoo! (beta) with some foreign flavors. With our new international content category, you can browse by region and country to add favorite content from around the world (some in languages other than English). First log in, then click “Personalize this page,” “Add Modules,” and “International,” and — voilà! — 16 geographic categories to choose from. If you’re not using the beta, what are you waiting for? Upgrade now.
  • When words are not enough: Whatever sentiments you want to express today, submit a photo of it to the Yahoo! Messenger Emoticontest for your chance to bring a new emoticon to life. We’re looking for brand spanking new, so make sure to check our list of existing and hidden smileys before you click. And don’t forget to vote for your fave mug here. If you’ve still got energy left, give a hoot and holler for 25 years of the emoticon. With feeling, people!

Subscribe to the RSS feed (or add it to My Yahoo!) to get this Product Pulse every week.

We moved our eyes all around and kept tab of things happening on the screen. From now on, its not just movement but depth and perception that will be used more.

Ex: I am writing this comment but i am also keeping tab of the stock graph in the back ground. I am watching a video on the left side of the screen, while on the right i have web results for ‘yahoo’ sliding to the front like an elevator from way back in the background.

If you thought your eyes could see no more, just wait!

P.S.
Browse, Search.., Magnetism…, PD (personal database), Teleportation, OPWB …..

Social networking sites are like bacteria, they break down data or make data useful!

I like Mybloglog coz
-I love the cool pics which appears next to the names in the recent readers list. Even if i am busy i end up clicking them open in a new window.
-I have discovered so many new sites while checking the Hot in my Communities section. I am now addicted to this section.

I liked this profile: ‘Fencer’ coz its all about club music.

P.S.
Its like a yahoo avatar in the future crying out loud asking for god to show up and explain the mess. Its sad with all the possibilities Internet has, it mirrors us.

How about focusing on generating useful products and shareholder value?

Apropo foreign flavours,

We can hope that we’ll have someday a Yahoo with Romanian content.

(The same question for Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Turkey and ex-Yugo states.)
