On 31 May, 2010, Yahoo! OMG! was launched in Indonesia. Similar to our OMG! portal in the U.S, Yahoo! OMG Indonesia is an entertainment site, where Indonesians find the latest and most exclusive celebrity news, blogs, photos and much more… all in local Bahasa language.

Yahoo! Indonesia also partnered with content providers KapanLagi, Tempo Interaktif, Antara, Okezone, Vivanews and AsianPlus, to provide comprehensive, up-to-date and exclusive celebrity entertainment stories and interviews.  On top of that, some popular Indonesian celebrities such as Maylaffayza, Joko Anwar and Raditya Dika are engaged to blog and provide Indonesian fans a glimpse of the latest and most exclusive celebrity news.

On 4 July, to celebrate the launch of OMG! in Indonesia, Yahoo! also bought to life the thrill and excitement of the World Cup season at an OMG! celebrity Shoot For Good (Gol Untuk Amal) futsal event. The event gave Indonesians the chance to team up with their favorite celebrities and raise money for charity by participating in various exciting events taking place in an OMG! themed celebrity village.

The OMG! themed village featured hands-on product experiences and guided tours to all things Yahoo!. Other exciting activities include fashion shows from Adidas showcasing the latest apparel, a chance at 5 seconds fame on the longest purple catwalk, plus opportunities to score goals with the National Futsal Team in a football clinic.

Yahoo! pledged to raise a maximun of USD10,000 at the event with a donation of IDR100,000 going to Artha Graha Peduli, for each goal scored during the celebrity  game. Indonesians attending the event could also do their part to raise money for Artha Graha Peduli by participating in a separate penalty shoot-out against goalkeepers from the National Futsal team that ran thought-out the day.
