
Yahoo! Hong Kong scored the honor of being rated as the Number One Digital Media Channel by marketing professionals in an independent survey conducted by Marketing Magazine (Hong Kong).
The inaugural survey was published in October 2010 and was conducted by BDMI, an independent research company appointed by Marketing Magazine. Yahoo! Hong Kong was rated as the top digital marketing channel that marketers choose to invest in to reach any audience demographic. The survey ranked Yahoo! ahead of its global competitors and leading local websites.
Matt Eaton, Group Editor of Marketing Magazine said, Yahoo! Hong Kong is the eminent leader in the local industry, and it never stop innovating to best meet the needs of its valued client advertisers and individual users: “Yahoo! is the undisputed leader of Hong Kong’s search market. With an audience reach of 82%, it’s a spot it has held for more than 10 years. This year Yahoo! has continued to innovate……its platform has evolved into new areas such as a handwriting search function, a brand search offering and branded-content for its ‘Mama Club’ parenting site.”
Survey respondents included in-house marketers and marketing agency professionals. Over 54% of the participating marketers holding in-house roles were managerial-level decision makers and 70% of respondents from agency side were senior management and executives.
